Bach to The Blues and beyond.......
Friday's concert at Lytchett Minster Parish Church, given by The Switch quartet, was a thrilling evening's entertainment. the first half contained arrangements of Handel and Bach, after which one listener was heard to ask - "how many instruments are there? Only four? It sounds like a whole orchestra!"

The warm tones of the instruments filled the space and led us on through the centuries via CEltic traditional tunes to more mod err n versions of popular songs via the Tanto and The Blues.

"It's such joyful music - so exceeds my expectations" sums the evening up. We were dancing in the aisles by the end!

Going back to May, the 9th we have to admit that the day of our wedding would not have been the same without "Switch". Not only are they excellent musicians but also four great women who wanted with all their hearts to make the day of our wedding special and memorable.
We met accidentally at the Light House in Poole at the wedding exhibition and they were nothing but delight to do business with.
In the last couple of weeks we decided on one particular song we wanted at the ceremony. And girls didn`t try to make it easy for themselves. They found the melody, they rehearsed and they delivered.
We didn`t have much time to prepare for the wedding, but during those couple of months prior to the day everyone involved in the preparations seemed like close friends. "Switch" were very efficient before and on the day. They were at the venue and ready well before the ceremony started.
Everyone enjoyed the great music which created just the atmosphere we wanted.
We would recommend "Switch" to everyone and are sure that their music would be a real asset for any occasion.
Ever so grateful
From the moment I contacted you, I had no doubt we would have a fabulous day. You were prompt and friendly when making the booking and knew exactly which type of music would be suited to our wedding. Even going so far as to check what you should wear on the day was such a nice touch - and you all looked brilliant, matching our colour scheme perfectly.

The music you played set the tone for the afternoon drinks reception. I always wanted a garden party feel to my wedding day, and that is exactly what we got! The weather was amazing, the pimms was flowing, the canapes were mouthwatering and the saxophone music playing in the background lent the air rather a jaunty feel!

Neil was unsure about booking live music for our reception and was adamant he didn't want a string quartet, but didn't know what he wanted! When I found your website, I knew a saxophone quartet would be perfect, so booked you as a surprise - he was so pleased with the results and completely agreed that the music really made the afternoon.

All our guests commented on the atmosphere and I (we) cannot thank you, the Montagu Arms Hotel and Focalpix photographers enough for making our day as perfect as it was. It was a day we will always remember...
Best wishes
Leeza & Daniel
